These included <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.housingwire.com\/articles\/panorama-mortgage-group-launches-travisa-financial\/\">Travisa Financial<\/a> <\/strong>in wholesale, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.housingwire.com\/articles\/37517-alterra-home-loans-secures-private-equity-funding-plans-expansion\/\">Alterra Home Loans<\/a><\/strong> as the distributed retail arm and Panorama in the consumer-direct space. Moving forward, these divisions will operate as SimplyPMG.Pro (wholesale), SimplyPMG.net (retail) and SimplyPMG.direct (consumer-direct).<\/p>\n<p>While the multibrand strategy initially served to attract different consumer bases, SimplyPMG president <a href=\"https:\/\/www.housingwire.com\/author\/hector-amendola\/\">Hector Amendola<\/a> noted that over time, it created unnecessary complexity. Consolidating the brands aligns with the company\u2019s broader objective to drive down the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.housingwire.com\/articles\/mba-imb-profit-costs-q1-2026\/\">cost to produce loans<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve been focused over the last few years on creating efficiencies and driving that manufacturing cost down,\u201d Amendola said in an interview with <strong>HousingWire<\/strong>. \u201cNow that we have that, we are able to offer a better price and a simpler process. That\u2019s the eye on the future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As part of the restructuring, Ospina \u2014 who previously served as president of Alterra Home Loans \u2014 takes the reins as CPO across all production channels.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur purpose now is to simplify the journey and improve pricing, ensuring that the next generation of homeowners can build stability and long-term wealth,\u201d Ospina said.<\/p>\n<p>Founded in 2006, the lender has maintained a heavy concentration in government lending, with <strong>Federal Housing Administration<\/strong> (FHA) loans making up 80% of its portfolio. Additionally, about 85% of its loan officers are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.housingwire.com\/articles\/latino-homebuyers-growth-market\/\">Latino<\/a>, reflecting the company\u2019s historical footprint in underserved communities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHistorically, Panorama Mortgage Group, especially Alterra Home Loans, has been focused on underserved markets, [specifically] Latinos,\u201d Amendola said. \u201cOur hope is that by going through a simpler process and better price, we\u2019re expanding that reach to everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To support that expansion, SimplyPMG is actively growing its footprint. The company currently employs 71 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.housingwire.com\/mortgage-rankings\/loan-amount\/\">loan officers<\/a> and is in the process of onboarding an additional 16, Ospina said.<\/p>\n<p>The lender reportedly originated $1.2 billion in 2025 and is projecting $1.5 billion in volume this year. It offers purchase loans, rate-and-term refinances, and cash-out options across a range of conventional and FHA programs.
