UWM-closed loans will also be serviced by UWM and borrowers will have the option to make payments through <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.housingwire.com\/articles\/uwm-bilt-mortgage-servicing\/\">Bilt<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Borrowers who make on-time digital payments through the platform can earn rewards points, which are automatically deposited into their accounts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2019Built-In Rewards\u2019 will change the way consumers think about their mortgage,\u201d said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.housingwire.com\/articles\/uwm-and-bilt-partner-to-redefine-the-mortgage-servicing-experience\/\">Sarah DeCiantis<\/a>, chief marketing officer at UWM. \u201cConsumers expect rewards from airlines, rideshares and grocery stores, but their biggest monthly expense has never offered anything back. That changes now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The company said the program is designed to help <a href=\"https:\/\/www.housingwire.com\/articles\/anthony-casa-on-umortgages-new-broker-model-empowering-loan-originators\/\">brokers<\/a> differentiate themselves in a competitive market where borrowers are often focused on interest rates and loan terms. By offering rewards tied to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.housingwire.com\/articles\/mortgage-payments-affordability-december\/\">mortgage payments<\/a>, brokers can present an additional value proposition beyond pricing or speed.<\/p>\n<p>Under the initiative, brokers will remain visible to borrowers after closing. UWM said borrowers will see their broker\u2019s information, including name and contact details, on their payment dashboard and in ongoing communications tied to their loan.<\/p>\n<p>Through the Bilt platform, borrowers can manage their mortgage and make payments in one place. Rewards points earned through on-time payments can be redeemed for purchases such as dining, groceries and travel, or applied toward future principal-only mortgage payments.<\/p>\n<p>The program is available exclusively to brokers who partner with UWM, the company\u2019s release clarified.<\/p>\n<p>The program is simultaneous with other UWM incentives.
